Dear {{full_name|friends, family, and art lovers}},
What inspires an artwork is often what we carry with us: memory, culture, and family bonds that shape our lives.
In my gouache painting “Three Generations (Theen Piriya),” three roses bloom in sequence, honoring the bond between my mother, myself, and my daughter. A delicate thread connects them, and the Hindi inscription speaks to the honor I feel at being both a mother and a daughter.
This painting was featured in the “Influences 2” presentation at Duffy Square in NYC on March 14, 2026. If you were not able to witness this moment in person, you can view it through this video.
